About
My name is Natalie Parks, farm owner and farm visit host. I am a pharmacist by trade (2004 graduate from UGA College of Pharmacy - Go Dawgs!), but my other passion is animals, particularly llamas and goats. I work as an informatics pharmacist at Wellstar Health System and spend my other time with my son, Ezra, tending to the farm and enjoying the animals.

In March 2020, we began offering llama experiences on our farm, where you are able to interact with the llamas and take them for guided walks around our farm. We also plan to host birthday parties and other special events! We are working diligently to add features to our farm.
We also host small groups to meet and learn about the goats, chickens, donkey, pig, and other animals that call our farm home. We established our farm in 2010 when we purchased 15 wooded acres in Villa Rica, GA. We cleared 4 acres, planted grass (several times...), put up a fence around 2 acres, and got our first llamas in 2012. We purchased 35 acres adjacent to our farm in 2015 and moved into our farm house in December 2015. We have kept a variety of animals through the years. Currently, we have 7 llamas & 1 alpaca, mini silky fainting goats, a mini horse, 2 mini donkey jennies, 5 cats, bunnies, and chickens. We sell eggs for eating when available at $5/dozen. Our future plans involve breeding and showing llamas, mini silky fainting goats, and rare breeds of chickens. We also planted about 50 fruit trees (peach, pear, plum, apple, fig, and persimmon), and 50 blueberry and pomegranate bushes in winter 2016/17 and hope to be able to sell organic produce from them in the next 5 years. |
